Winter?

When we woke up this morning and looked outside we saw this:
 
Snow... and it hasn't melted at all so it still looks just the same. I don't know if I'm ready for winter but when I have a new shawl to wrap myself in, it gets easier. (as you can see I took these pictures yesterday) Click to make bigger.
  
Icarus Shawl from Interweave Knits.
Yarn: Färgkraft Softblend (1 ply, handpainted) in colour Blåmussla & Kauni Lace - black
Needles: Addi 3.5 mm 80 cm

I ran out of yarn with only 8 rows left and decided to use Kauni Lace for those and I like it more than I thought I would. The black border sort of holds the shawl together. Me like!

Now I'll get back to the sofa and Henry the scarf. Have a nice weekend!
